MacOS is an entirely distinct operating system from Windows. It has a distinct appearance and operates in a distinct manner. It even has its own set of programs and apps. Perhaps you are in the market for a new computer and want to test out macOS before purchasing a new Mac. Perhaps there are some Mac-only apps that you’d like to try. MacOS can be installed on a Windows (or Linux) computer as a dual boot or as a virtual machine. This wikiHow teaches you how to use VirtualBox to install macOS on a virtual machine. STEP 1: Downloading the Software and extensions You’ll Need 1. Install VirtualBox. Oracle created VirtualBox, a virtual machine. Virtual machines are programs that simulate the operation of a computer system. Installing an operating system on a virtual machine and running it inside another computer is possible. To download and install VirtualBox, follow the steps below: In a web browser such as Google Chrome, navigate to https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads. Below “VirtualBox 7.0.1 platform packages,” select Windows hosts. If you’re using Linux, go to Linux Distributions and download the installation file for your specific version of Linux. In your web browser or Downloads folder, locate the VirtualBox installation executable (.exe) file. To proceed, click Next on the title screen. Select any custom installation items by checking the box next to them and then clicking Next. Next, select an installation location by clicking Browse. It is advised that you install the virtual machine in the default location. If you don’t know what you’re doing, don’t change the install location. Click Yes to accept that it may temporarily disconnect your internet connection. Install should be selected. 2. Get the VirtualBox expansion pack. This expansion pack adds USB 3.0 support for keyboard and mouse. To download the VirtualBox expansion pack, follow these steps: In a web browser, navigate to https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads. Scroll down and select “VirtualBox 6.1.18 Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack” from the list of supported platforms. To install the expansion pack, double-click the file in your web browser’s Downloads folder. Install should be selected. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select I agree. 3. Get a macOS disk image. For macOS, you’ll need an image file. Below are two separate download links for macOS 11.0 (Big Sur), the most recent version of macOS. To download the zip file containing an image file for macOS Big Sur, go to one of the following links and click Download: http://www.mediafire.com/file/k36q2yare1sc4bb/macOS Big Sur Beta 11.0 % http://www.mediafire.com/file/dbfod9u5q9ii9nd/macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 % 4. Remove the macOS image file. After downloading macOS, you must extract the image file. You can use an archive program such as WinRAR, 7-Zip, or Windows File Manager to do so. In your web browser or Downloads folder, open the zip file. Then, select Extract all or any other option that will extract the entire contents of the zip file. Make a note of the location where you saved the contents. Click Here for STEP 2:

Educators may engage kids in fresh and fascinating ways with the correct tools, allowing them to learn more successfully. Most classes you enter will almost certainly use a variety of technologies to assist student learning. In this lesson, we’ll define technology as technological equipment used to improve classroom instruction. Technology has transformed education, and teachers are expected to take advantage of whatever the school has to offer. In this post, we will look at various classroom technology examples that have proven to be effective in increasing teaching. The Advantages of Using Technology in Education Technology has improved every aspect of life and has influenced everyone. The use of technology in education has changed the way students learn and teachers educate. It is not restricted to computers but also covers mobile phones, gaming devices, and other electronic resources. The following are some of the advantages of employing technology in education: Students become more interested and motivated in their studies. It offers a more engaging and hands-on learning environment. Students pick up new skills and knowledge more quickly. Allows for a more personalized learning experience. Teachers save time and make better plans. There are numerous forms of technology that can be employed in the classroom, each with its own set of advantages. It is up to educators to determine which technology is best suited to their pupils and curriculum. The following are some of the most popular types of classroom technology. Tools for Visualizing Data Information visualization technologies are intended to assist pupils in comprehending complicated subjects. These tools can help students understand challenging subjects by visually displaying information. Mind maps, infographics, and concept maps are some of the information visualization techniques accessible. Whiteboards that interact One of the most well-known examples of technology in the educational system is the interactive whiteboard. These boards are essentially massive touch screens that can serve a multitude of functions. They can be used by educators to display photos and videos, to produce presentations, and even to play instructional games. Students can also utilize the boards to work on projects together and share their results with the class. Educational Video Games For ages, games have been utilized in teaching, but with the arrival of digital technology, they have grown much more popular. There are currently a wide range of educational games accessible for teaching English, arithmetic, science, and even history. These games are frequently more entertaining than traditional methods of learning, and they may be adjusted to subjects ranging from algebra to history. Games are an effective technique to engage children and motivate them to learn. Multimedia Digital Storytelling Digital storytelling is a new concept that employs multimedia to tell stories. This can range from films and photographs to audio recordings and text. Digital stories can be used to teach a wide range of subjects, and they are frequently more engaging than traditional teaching techniques. Students may learn the importance of emotional language by reading digital stories, which can help them explore new ways to act or think differently. These tales might elicit strong emotions in students and encourage them to focus on issues that they are interested in. Cloud Computing Users can access files and programs via the cloud from any internet-connected device. Digital textbooks, videos, lesson plans, and assignments can all be stored and shared on the cloud. Students can also communicate with their lecturers and peers in real time via live online sessions. How to continue working from home if your internet is down
You were at your job. Everything was fine. Your underground internet wiring is cut by a landscaper’s shovel, or a tree falls and destroys a neighborhood’s internet. Or the bizarre occurs and the cable modem’s tiny green LED turns red. When a ship’s engine shuts off, you are, as the sailors say, “dead in the water.” Now what? The majority of remote work requires access to a stable internet connection, and for many people, particularly hourly or clocked employees, having no internet means having no money. Finding a quick technique to reconnect to the internet at home or anywhere else is required. Given the disruption, the objective is to continue operating a firm, maintain employment, and have a solid backup plan in place in case the internet goes down. This is why having a bug-out pack with all the necessary cables, equipment, and even a sweater (for uncontrolled air conditioning) can swiftly get you back to work. KEEPING IN TOUCH AT HOME Tethering from your smartphone is the most straightforward technique to get over a brief outage. All current smartphones come with a Wi-Fi hotspot feature that allows you to share your data connection with other devices, albeit the functionality is often constrained by phone plans. In the Settings section of your phone, you can enable your hotspot. On an iPhone, check the main Settings menu for Personal Hotspot. Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Hotspot and Tethering on a Samsung phone, and Settings > Network & internet > Hotspot & Tethering on other Android phones, respectively. You should be good to go after changing or copying the password and connecting your laptop to the phone’s Wi-Fi SSID. Even “unlimited” phone plans will eventually reduce your hotspot speed. That amount, which can be anything between 5GB and 40GB per month, is typically separate from your overall high-speed data allocation. You can only access speeds up to 3G after that. Large file transfers can quickly exhaust your hotspot allotment, but video calls are the real killer: a one-hour Zoom meeting can consume over a gigabyte of data. Plan to dial in via a phone until your internet is restored if you receive a lot of calls. Dial-in numbers are supported by all popular video calling platforms, but you may need to contact the meeting host or your company’s IT department to activate them. Additionally, even though you could typically have a lightning-fast 5G connection, both 5G and 4G / LTE connections might significantly slow down depending on how many users are utilizing the same tower and infrastructure. While a result, if the outage is widespread, you should expect your phone’s data connection to slow down as everyone tries to use their phones. You’ll need a way to recharge your phone and laptop if the power goes out because tethering consumes battery power quickly. CONNECTIONS FOR BACKUP If outages are infrequent, tethering from your phone is a fantastic choice. However, whether a separate backup is portable or not, it’s worth thinking about if your main connection to the internet is inconsistent and you depend on it for business. If you frequently tether to avoid being at the whim of other people’s Wi-Fi or to weather frequent house outages, you might want to investigate a portable hotspot device, which can preserve both your phone’s battery and data allowance. The most economical solution is to upgrade your current plan to include a hotspot line. Customers of Verizon, for instance, can add a 15GB hotspot line to an existing account for $20 per month; the company’s most affordable standalone plan is $60 per month. That’s fantastic for the people using the café, but if your hotspot is connected to the same network as your primary phone, it will experience the same network congestion issues when there is a local outage. Hotspots are a good primary option in some locations. Dedicated hotspots might replace DSL, cable, and even overloaded fiber-optic connections as phone companies gradually roll out their 5G networks. 5G speeds can compete with many household and apartment broadband connections where it is available and functional. If DSL is your only other option in rural locations without cable or fiber, 4G or 5G fixed internet might even be your best choice. Fixed wireless internet services and Wi-Fi routers with built-in 4G or 5G radios are both available from AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile. You might be able to switch to wireless if you live in a remote region and haven’t looked at your alternatives in a while (and keep your DSL for backup, if you really want). Satellite is your only option if you live outside of the reach of cable, fiber, and reliable wireless internet. Traditional satellite internet is expensive and slow, but it can be a vital backup for remote employees in rural areas who have no other choice but slow, unstable DSL. Though coverage isn’t yet universal, more recent satellite options like Starlink are still pricey but speedier. KEEPING IN TOUCH WHEN AWAY FROM HOME There may be other reasons to leave the house besides a home outage. If you can find a place with a reliable internet connection and a setting that is conducive to working, any of these things are good reasons to move out, including construction noise, visitors, a neighbor who brought a full drum set over for a jam session at the apartment next door, plumbing problems, or a desperate need to escape distractions. Doing a “trial outage” to discover a nice location before you need one is an excellent idea. Check out the local possibilities after packing a “bug-out” bag with cables, batteries, chargers, and a sweater (for overzealous AC). However, not all of them will be suitable locations for you to work for a few hours or be willing to accommodate you. Libraries, coffee shops, and restaurants are all candidates. It’s generally a good idea to go to a Starbucks if one is close by. Fast-guaranteed Wi-Fi was one of Starbucks’ undeniable early advantages in the

Is A Website Software As A Service(SAAS)?
Because of the similarities between websites and SAAS, some people confuse the two and think they are the same thing. But the reality is that these two things are different and they serve different purposes. Websites are a combination of web pages that are accessed through the same URL. On the other hand, SAAS, also known as Software as a Service, is a new method of delivering services online. Here we will take a closer look at each of them to see how they work. Are Websites Considered Software as a Service? The reason for this comparison is that both websites and SAAS are accessed through the internet using a web browser. They are both published on one or more web servers. But the similarities end there. Websites can be considered as a more generalized model that views various things through the cloud. They are built using software tools—but not all websites provide a software service. Therefore, websites are not considered Software as a Service. Websites are created for different purposes: not just providing software through the cloud. What is a Website? A web page is accessed through the internet and contains various types of content. This may include blog posts, videos, images, audio, and other forms of media. A collection of web pages owned by a single person or organization is a website. Most companies, brands, businesses, and individuals have their websites. They use it to provide content or information to visitors. Some websites require users to create an account to access some pages, but most of them don’t. What is SAAS? Software as a Service, also known as SAAS or SaaS, is a software model that provides software services through the internet. SAAS provides service remotely, unlike traditional on-premise applications that are installed into the computer. This means you don’t need a hardware device to host the software into it. SAAS provides its services through the internet and a web browser. This unique delivery model means the software is centrally hosted on a server that is owned and operated by the SAAS providers. That server stores the SAAS application along with your data. It also does all computing operations. Even though it requires you to have an account to use the service, SAAS is still a much more convenient way to access certain services. That account may belong to a single person or an organization, depending on the SAAS provider. Think of it as “renting” the software. In this model, you don’t own the software, and you don’t have to pay for the license to use it. Instead, you pay a subscription fee that covers a certain period, typically a month or a year. The service providers are also responsible for most of the software management process, which is another thing that makes it very easy to use. You don’t have to worry about maintaining and updating the software because the SAAS provider does it for you. The subscription fee covers the cost of this as well. The SAAS provider will take care of security issues, hosting, maintenance, OS setup, data storage, and more. SAAS applications can provide many different services such as messaging, customer relationship management, content management, cloud storage, etc. So as you can see, websites and SAAS are very different. The only similarity is that they are accessed via the internet. SAAS is a cloud model that facilitates the process of setting up and managing software. Websites are online channels that display any type of content through the web. Knowing their differences, you can better utilize both for your business or company.
