One of the great features of Windows 10 is its search bar which is located on the lower left side of the screen. or upper right in a folder explorer. Just type anything in it and it will show you the results of the best possible matches. You can search for a specific file in your computer or for an application. How To Fix Windows 10 Can’t Type In Search Issue
Before performing any of the recommended troubleshoot below it’s best to restart your computer first. This action refreshes the operating system and remove any corrupt temporary data that could be causing the problem.
Follow the steps below:
STEP 1:
Click on control (ctr) key plus R key
The run command box would pop-up after the above keys are pressed.
STEP 2:
The next step is to enter the command below in the search box and click OK or ENTER.
C:\Windows\system32\ctfmon.exe
STEP 3:
Now type what you want to search in any search bar both in start menu or folder explorer.
